Carylls has been established for over 40 years, and our aim is to offer uncompromising standards of quality, comfort and service. Many of our clients return time after time, year after year. We are not part of a large hotel chain — we are privately owned and independently run.
Our customer service, together with our accommodation facilities including kitchenette, TV, DVD and freeview, broadband and free parking, mean you can enjoy a great stay at a great price.
We guarantee more space, comfort, independence, privacy, flexibility and freedom at a price significantly lower than a hotel of equivalent standard.

Convenience
Carylls Country House is in the village of Faygate, a small hamlet on the Surrey Sussex borders. Faygate is just 3miles from both Crawley and Horsham town centres, close to the M23 and M25 commuter routes, and just 7 miles from Gatwick airport. Faygate also has its own station, with links to London Victoria and Brighton.
More space to live and work comfortably
Rooms at Carylls provide more space than hotel rooms of an equivalent standard, so whether your choice is one of our guest rooms or one of our holiday flatlets, it offers a kitchenette and a living/working area. Our guests have much more space to live, work and relax. They believe that having a room with its own facilities is a must, and prefer the flexibility of a room at Carylls to living with strangers in a house share or living with a landlady. Living out of a suitcase in a guest house, bed and breakfast or hotel is always an option but is not always ideal or economical.
Cost–effective accommodation solution
With travel budgets increasingly under pressure, business and leisure travellers will find rooms at Carylls offer excellent value for money – our guest rooms cost up to 40% less than equivalent hotel rooms. There will be no ‘hidden extras’ such as drinks from the mini-bar, room service charges etc. Broadband internet access is available at no extra charge. Our rates do not increase at the weekend, and we will not move you from one room to another. We do not charge for car parking — and every room has its own allocated car parking space in our secure on–site car park.
Guests staying for longer periods of 7 nights or more will benefit from a reduced price per night. And by providing self–catering facilities, our guests can eliminate expensive restaurant and bar bills.
Our on–site laundrette facilities enable our guests to save on expensive hotel laundry charges.
Flexibility within a home–from–home environment
Guests enjoy the flexibility of being able to choose to prepare their own meals and eat in the comfort of their own room.
Business travellers in particular can spend several weeks or months away from home and appreciate a home-from-home environment offering maximum flexibility, privacy and independence.
